Friends

My “Oddly Ordinary” friends are actually "old friends" captured over the years in many pen and ink sketches. While you may find them odd at first, you might come across look-alikes in your everyday activities and then to you, as well, they will become “Oddly Familiar”.

The small paintings above each friend invite the viewer to interact with the work, to imagine what the relationship might be. The traveller looking at his watch, for example, seems impatient to get somewhere. Does the small painting suggest where and why?
